Not sure. The public seemed to forget about Foot + Mouth, Iraq, Afganistan, etc. at the last election; so it all hangs on how long their support from the red tops stays -- you only have to look at The Sun to see how apparently the government vote was lost, against public opnion, as apposed to with it.
